Common errors and troubleshooting
First, make sure you have the latest version of the app installed from Google Play or the App Store: most errors are already fixed in the most recent version.
I can't log in, or I forgot my password
SymptomThe app rejects your username and password, or you don't remember your login details.
FixUse the "Forgot your password?" option on the login screen to receive a recovery email. If you sign in with Google or Apple, check that you've accepted the permissions requested by that account.
The map doesn't load or doesn't detect my location
SymptomThe map shows blank, takes a long time to load, or the "center on my location" button doesn't respond.
FixCheck that you've granted location permission to the app in your phone's settings, and that GPS is turned on. Indoors, GPS can take longer to get an accurate fix; try outdoors. If the map is still blank, check your internet connection.
I'm not getting push notifications
SymptomYou're not receiving alerts for meetups, flight invitations or news.
FixCheck in Settings → Notifications that both the master switch and the specific category are enabled. Also check that your phone doesn't have the app under a restricted "battery saver" mode, since some manufacturers (Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung) block background notifications by default.
FPV goggles won't connect over USB
SymptomWhen you connect the goggles by USB cable, the app doesn't detect the signal or no image appears.
FixDirect USB connection to FPV goggles is only available on Android (not on iPhone, due to iOS's own limitations). Make sure you're using a data USB cable (not a charge-only one) and that your goggles model is on the app's compatibility list. If your goggles have their own Wi‑Fi output (HDZero, Walksnail), you can connect over the local network instead of by cable.
I can't find a Spot I know is nearby
SymptomYou're looking for a place to fly and it doesn't appear on the Spots map.
FixThat Spot may still be pending review, or saved as a draft by its author. If you just created the Spot yourself, drafts and pending-approval Spots are only visible to their author until they're published.
Shared flight / screen share won't connect
SymptomWhen you start a shared flight, the other person doesn't see the image, or the connection drops.
FixBoth devices need a stable internet connection (preferably Wi‑Fi or 4G/5G with good coverage); weak signal at the flying spot is the most common cause. Also check that you don't have an aggressive data-saver mode limiting background internet use.
The app doesn't follow my phone's language
SymptomThe app opens in a different language than your device.
FixThis happens if you once changed the language manually from Settings inside the app: that manual setting takes priority over the system language. Go back to Settings and select your preferred language again.
I can't transfer my data to another device
SymptomThe transfer code isn't accepted, or the devices can't find each other.
FixBoth phones must be on the same local network (same Wi‑Fi) with the app open on the transfer screen at the same time. Enter the code exactly as shown on the new device, with no spaces, and before it expires.
My flight logs don't appear, or are empty
SymptomYou recorded a flight but can't find it afterwards in your logbook.
FixFlight logs are stored encrypted on your own device, not in the cloud: if you switched phones without using Transfer data, your old logs stayed on the previous device. Use My account → Transfer data next time before switching phones.
The app crashes right when I open it
SymptomThe app closes immediately after opening, without showing any message.
FixUpdate to the latest version available on the store: this kind of crash usually matches issues already fixed in earlier versions. If it keeps happening after updating, uninstall and reinstall the app (your account data comes back when you log in; locally encrypted data does not, so use Transfer data first if you can).
